Grafting – a different take

A little while ago a Raveler pointed me in the direction of a different way of grafting two pieces of Stockinette stitch together – Cheryl Brunette’s method. It sparked some ideas.

Since my FoxxyLady Shawl pattern has the option of grafting the two shawl pieces together at the centre-back, I played around a bit and came up with the following method and thought I’d share here. It’s totally changed how I feel about grafting!
