The latest in our migrated patterns are the Padua Cabled Socks.

See the magnificent sailing ship these socks were named after!

Socks are worked cuff down and begin with an Estonian Cast On (tutorial here on this blog), have a slipped stitch heel and conventional wide toe.

These socks belong to a series of five patterns that all focus on sock leg details and leave the foot — the part hidden in your shoes — in plain Stockinette stitch for ease and comfort.

Padua Cable Socks are also available on Patternfish.

Other socks is this series are (some still to be migrated, so they appear under our South Mountain ~ Naturally label):

Flying V Socks

Secret Tattoo Socks

Jibboom Socks

Wandering Minstrel Socks
