Ravelry Public Viewing of patterns and projects
Currently on a trial basis, members can sign up to have their patterns visible to the public. This means that anyone can view those patterns and projects in the Ravelry database. This is great news for those who’d like to share their patterns and projects with friends and family who really don’t want to sign up for a Ravelry account.
Here’s a link to the moebius scarf I finished recently Woodland Grace (see sidebar for pic) so you can try it out.
Aran Lace by Annie Maloney
This little swatch is the beginning of the Lacy Lattice Shawl designed by Annie Maloney and published in her new book Aran Lace (a collection of 101 original knitting stitch patterns plus loads of extra informative tidbits, techniques and the voice of experience). This is the first knitting I’ve done for me in many a year but I had to try both the stitch pattern and the unusual shaping of this shawl.
The yarn: Knit Picks Gloss Fingering (merino/silk blend)
Needles: 3mm /US3
