Frolic in time for spring!

Frolic chid's cardi

Frolic child’s cardi

Frolic has a fresh face! A child’s cardigan with an offset front, six sizes, two choices for button holes (each in three sizes) and the chance to mix and match all kinds of colours!

Buttonholes are either worked as knit-on tabs (first pic) or as a scalloped buttonhole band that is sewn on.

Celtic Child Kieran Pullover joins Impeccable Knits label

Celtic Child Kieran Pullover

Celtic Child Kieran Pullover

The latest pattern to migrate to our new label is this fantastic little child’s pullover featuring the “Homes of Donegal” motif. As with most of our patterns, we provided charts with written instructions for the yummy cable-y portions :)

It’s available on:

Ravelry, Patternfish and Craftsy - so many choices!

For the smallest size, the motif is scaled i.e. the sleeve motif is used so the lovely cables don’t overwhelm the design. It comes in four sizes from ages 1 – 6.

Shown in size 2.

Another eBook collection

Impeccable Kids Collection 3 2013-01-29 v1.0 cover page

Slightly out of order, but here’s Impeccable Kids Collection 3 – a grouping of 5 of our baby blanket designs: Easy Summer Rain, Tamsen Blue, Reversible Denim, Baby Ella and Arches. You do have to be a member of Ravelry to take advantage of the eBook savings – which comes to less than half price compared to buying individual patterns!

All patterns are still available individually, though, if anyone’s looking for just one.

New eBook – Impeccable Kids Collection 1

Impeccable Kids Collection 1 2013-01-17 v1.0 cover page

As we’re migrating some of our earlier patterns to our new label, we thought we’d include some collections to make purchasing them a little more economical.

The Impeccable Kids Collection 1 is now available! We’ve grouped five of our patterns for kids together for only $7USD – all use lovely self-striping yarn from Bernat.

There are two more collections to come over the next few weeks.

Note: eBook patterns on Ravelry are only visible when you’re signed in — if you’re not a member yet, it is free and a fantastic knitting and crochet community.

Patterns included in this eBook are:

Berry Slouchy Hat

Le Sacque Jacquard Kicking Sack

Little Waves Hat

Pink Diamond Hat

Sky Pilot Hat

Just thought I’d add a little reminder that most of our patterns are also available through Patternfish.com. Julia and the gang are just fabulous! It’s also a great source for some of those out-of-print patterns you might be looking for.

Ravelympics / Knitting Olympics Day 6

The first sleeve is finished. I had intended to do a rolled cuff – I love the look of them on little kid’s clothing – but opted for a 1 x 1 rib to better fit in with the other stitch patterns e.g. the single knit stitch on both sides of the central Rope cable and the garter stitch hem (which is just cut off at the bottom of the pic).

The ends of the central rope panel are on stitch holders and will be picked up when the neck band is knit.

I’m about half-way to the sleeve shaping on the second half, so in very good shape to finish by the closing ceremonies.
