Two New Patterns to be released soon

The 2 newest Celtic Child designs will be released within the next 2 weeks — watch the Pattern Page for details

Here are a couple of “Extreme Close-up’s”  — top picture is a hat (Celtic Child ~ Reishi Tam) and the other a lovely blanket (Celtic Child ~ Forest Paths Baby Blanket).

Both incorporate cables, of course — one is knit using Mission Falls 136 Superwash Merino (a sport weight) and the other a soy blend from Bernat (a worsted weight).

New Blog Pages: NS LYS and Cable Info

Those of you who have very keen eyes have probably noticed that  I’ve added 2 new pages to the blog: 1) Nova Scotia Local Yarn Shops and 2) Cable (Aran, Irish, Bayerische) Knitting Resources.

On the cable resources page, I’m aiming for sites/books that share information on cable knitting as opposed to pattern sites (although, of course, hybrids exist). If anyone has any resources to add, please leave the info in a comment.
